It's called Skies Painted with Unnumbered Sparks, and it's a gorgeous string sculpture in the sky by Janet Echelman. It soars outside the entrance to Vancouver Convention Centre, home of TED 2014.
It was even more gorgeous one evening with the lights playing across it, as TEDsters could control it with their cell phones.
Artistic beauty was finally joined by natural beauty today, as the snowcapped mountains partially emerged from the clouds.
